About

Practical Mama Wellness was created to provide personalized wellness services to women through the use of functional medicine, a farm to table lifestyle, holistic nutrition, & the latest research available.

Mission

At Practical Mama Wellness, our mission is to guide women in “Trusting the Process” of nourishing themselves and their families. By integrating evidence-based functional nutrition, personalized lab insights, and local farm-to-table partnerships, we create transformative programs that empower mothers to thrive at every phase of womanhood.

Values

To revolutionize women’s healthcare by seamlessly blending functional medicine principles, community-driven farm-to-table solutions, and compassionate support, so that every mother—whether planning, nurturing, or transitioning—feels confident, healthy, and fully supported.

About Me

My name is Nicole but most people call me Coco and I am the creator of Practical Mama Wellness. I created this company with the hopes of bringing functional medicine, sustainability, nutrition, and practicality into the home of every woman.

Personally, I am a wife and mom. I am passionate about my faith and iced coffee. I also consider myself to be a glitter enthusiast (and sometimes a comedian).

Professionally, I am a registered nurse with my BSN degree from Franciscan University and my MScN degree from the National University of Natural Medicine. I chose the route of functional nutritionist instead of a dietician route, due to the flexibility to practice in a more holistic & functional medicine manner. I am also a member of the American Nutrition Association, Academy of Integrative Health & Medicine, and North American Lourdes Volunteers.

I have seen the ins and outs of the traditional healthcare system as a nurse. Traditional nursing no longer paralleled with my original desire to be a nurse. I never desired to be a pill-pusher, a money-maker for the hospital’s CEO, or overworked to the point of crumbling. In 2021, started my studies at the National University of Natural Medicine and I never once regretted leaving traditional medicine.

Never forget that you are valuable, you are loved, and you are enough.

In Him,
Coco
